ありふれた毎日を過ごすなんの変哲もない光景。
行ったことのない場所、見たことのないものに惹かれる。それは未知なことであり、特別なこと。
そんな光景に遭遇するため、『光を矢にして射る』そんな言葉が自分の写真行為に合うかもしれない。制約の中での写真行為は、自分の生まれ育った環境を世界の中心に変化させ、見慣れたものが未知のものに感じられる瞬間を表出させる。それは決定的な瞬間でも場所でもなく、場所そのものに内包する私たちの暮らしの美である。そして、そのことをひとつひとつ確かめていくことが私に必要なことであり、自分の生まれ育った場所へのオマージュである。

Recording Fragments of daily life.
Mundane days pass, and with them monotonous scenes.
I am enchanted by places I have not been, things I have not seen and that are unknown, special things.
"Light is the arrow I shoot" in order to have such encounters. I feel that is a good way to describe my photography.
Photographing with limitations transforms the place I grew up into the center of the universe,
presenting me with moments where thing familiar to me feel new and mysterious.
I do not need to be in a crucial moment in an extraordinary place.
I find beauty in our daily scenes in the daily lives.
And then it is necessary for me to make sure of each of these things one by one-an homage to the place I grew up.
